Information we collect

  • Information you send us. When you use a contact form or email us, we receive your name, email address and anything you include in your message.
  • Usage information. We use Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited and for how long. These tools use cookies and collect information such as your approximate location, browser and device type. They do not identify you by name. Pretty much every website in the world does this.
  • Security information. Our contact forms are protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which collects information about your device and browsing behaviour to tell humans from automated programs. Google’s Privacy Policy and Terms of Service apply.

  • To respond to your enquiry and, if you instruct us, to provide our services
  • To understand and improve how the website is used
  • To protect the website against spam and abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing to you without your consent.

Confidentiality

Information you send us about an invention, a trademark or a client matter is treated as confidential. Please do not send confidential technical details through the website contact form; contact us first and we will agree a suitable way to receive them.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only as needed to run the website and provide our services: our website hosting provider, Google (for analytics, reCAPTCHA and our backups), and, where you instruct us on a matter, patent offices and foreign associates involved in that matter. Some of these providers store information outside Israel, including in the United States.

Cookies

The website uses cookies for analytics and to remember your choices about embedded third-party content. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the site will still work, although some embedded content may not display.

How long we keep information

We keep enquiries for as long as needed to respond and to maintain a record of our correspondence. Where you become a client, we keep matter records for the period required by our professional obligations. Website backups are kept for a limited period and then deleted automatically.

Your rights

You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, and to have it corrected or deleted, subject to our legal and professional obligations. If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you also have the rights given by the GDPR, including the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
